Supported Software
The latest software provided with ScanSnap supports Windows® 8; however, some software precautions are provided and detailed below.
S1500/S1300/S1100 applications

Setup DVD-ROM installer(*1) | The installation of .NET Framework 3.5 fails during the ScanSnap Software installation from the Setup DVD-ROM installer when Internet access is NOT present. Workaround : Install ScanSnap software from the Setup DVD-ROM installer with Internet access. During the installation, select to enable .NET Framework 3.5. |
Manuals do not open even when the Manual buttons for each manual are selected in the Manuals menu of the Setup DVD-ROM installer. Workaround : Download from the ScanSnap Manual Download page. Or, open the folder in which the target manual is stored in the Setup DVD using the explorer. Then, double-click the target PDF file to open it. |
