Note for using ScanSnap or ScanSnap applications on macOS Sierra

The following problems have been found with macOS Sierra 10.12.
Before applying the following updates of our applications, please be sure to update your macOS Sierra to 10.12.1 or later.

1. Some pages in the PDF files created on macOS Sierra are blank.
2. PDF files created on macOS Sierra are broken when being linked with certain applications.
3. Some pages in the PDF files created on macOS Sierra or earlier OS become blank when edited on macOS Sierra.
4. Some pages are removed from the PDF files created on macOS Sierra or earlier OS when edited with ScanSnap Page Merger or Merge Pages of ScanSnap Organizer.
5. When scanning both sides of cards with CardMinder on macOS Sierra, the data on the back side of the cards are not saved.
6. Size of new PDF files created on macOS Sierra become larger than they should be.
7. Size of the PDF files created on Mac OS earlier than Sierra becomes larger than the original when being edited on macOS Sierra.
8. Files are not stored in Evernote and following message is displayed.
9. Blank pages are printed occasionally.
10. Images exported to certain applications are displayed as blank pages on the preview screen of the applications.(Note: This problem occurs only with previewing. The exported PDF files have no problems)
11. Does this issue apply with ScanSnap on older Mac operating systems like El Capitan?
12. Does this issue apply to ScanSnap operating on Windows
13. Does exporting content into the cloud impact this issue?

This problem has been fixed. Install the update for ScanSnap Manager for Mac.

Use the Online Update to fix this problem.

Note: Updating to macOS Sierra 10.12.1 or later also fixes this problem.

Some cloud vendors automatically alter digital content format in minor or major ways when coming into their service. We recommend making a backup of content before sending PDF into various cloud services outside the computer until a fix is provided.
