A message appears saying "Failed to install ScanSnap Online Update." or "Unable to proceed because Online Update is not installed. Reinstall ScanSnap Home and try again."

When you cannot update ScanSnap Online Update, ScanSnap Home, or ScanSnap Manager with the message saying "Failed to install ScanSnap Online Update." or "Unable to proceed because Online Update is not installed. Reinstall ScanSnap Home and try again.", follow the steps below.

1. Close the message.
2. Download ScanSnap Online Update from the webpage below and install it.
   
   Software Downloads: ScanSnap
   
   If a message appears saying "You do not need to install this product because it is already installed.", use as it is.
3. Start ScanSnap Home or ScanSnap Manager manually.
