Why do the black parts of my image turn out lighter than normal? (Windows®)

This symptom is sometimes found under the following conditions.

• [Color high compression] has been selected for the [Color mode] in ScanSnap Manager setting.
• You have scanned picture containing documents at the above setting.

In this case, please go back to the [Color mode] drop-down list, select [Color] and try scanning the document again.
