There are some precautions.
- Do not write on, color, stain, or cut the portion striped in black and white on the ScanSnap Carrier Sheet. The ScanSnap Carrier Sheet might not be recognized correctly if do so.
- Do not place the ScanSnap Carrier Sheet upside-down on the ScanSnap. Doing so can cause a paper jam, or damage the ScanSnap Carrier Sheet.
- Do not leave a document on the ScanSnap Carrier Sheet for an extended period of time. The ink on the document might be transferred onto the ScanSnap Carrier Sheet.
- Do not leave the ScanSnap Carrier Sheet in locations that are exposed to elevated temperatures; for example, locations exposed to direct sunlight or near a heating apparatus, for an extended period of time. And do not use the ScanSnap Carrier Sheet under high-temperature conditions. If used under such a condition, it may be deformed.
- Do not bend or forcefully pull the ScanSnap Carrier Sheet.
- Do not use a damaged ScanSnap Carrier Sheet. Doing so can damage the ScanSnap or cause a malfunction To avoid deformation of the ScanSnap Carrier Sheet, do not put anything heavy on it and keep it on a level surface when not in use.
- Be careful not to cut your fingers when touching the edge of the ScanSnap Carrier Sheet.
- Do not insert more than one small-size material such as pictures and post cards in the ScanSnap Carrier Sheet per scan. Doing so can cause a paper jam. It is recommended to scan small-size materials one at a time.
