The features of ScanSnap SV600 are as follows:
- Scanning documents from above using non-contact scanning technology
The line CCD sensor detects the reflection of light emitted by the scanning unit at the top of the scanner and scans the document.
Since the scan is non-contact, even thick books can be scanned without cutting.
- Scanning multiple documents at the same time
You can scan multiple documents in the scan area in a single scan.
- Scanning A3-sized documents
You can scan documents larger than A4, such as newspaper or magazine clippings, without having to cut or fold them.
- Connecting with other ScanSnap models at the same time
You can use ScanSnap SV600 and another ScanSnap scanner which are connected to the computer. You can use them alternately when both ScanSnap models are connected and turned on. (*1)
The following ScanSnap models can be connected to a computer and used together with ScanSnap SV600:
iX1600 / iX1400 / iX1500 / iX1300 / iX100 / iX500 / S1500 / S1500M / S1300i / S1300 / S1100 / S510 / S300 (*2)*1: You cannot scan documents with two ScanSnap scanners simultaneously. Before switching the ScanSnap scanners to use, make sure that a series of operations (from scanning a document to linking the ScanSnap with an application) has been completed. *2: You need to switch the ScanSnap to use with ScanSnap Home.
