ScanSnap iX1500 comes with touch screen for better usability, faster scanning speed (by approx. 20%), and support for both direct and indirect wireless connection over Wi-Fi. Furthermore, the scanner becomes ready to scan faster in fast startup mode, and supports the manual scan mode which allows scanning folded A3 size papers without use of a carrier sheet.
