The optional carrier Sheet is designed to transport various documents through the ScanSnap.
Documents larger than A4 that cannot be scanned as is, such as A3 or B4 size documents, can be folded in half and scanned in the Carrier Sheet in the duplex scanning mode. This will allow you to scan single-sided documents up to A3 size.
The front side (scanning side) of the Carrier Sheet is the side which you see vertical line on the right when the black and white pattern is on top.
Open the Photo Carrier Sheet and place the top center of the document against the top center of the Photo Carrier Sheet, ensuring there is no gap.
For details about how to scan documents with Carrier Sheet, refer to the ScanSnap Help .
You can also use the Carrier Sheet to scan photos without damaging them, as well as non-standard size documents such as clippings that are difficult to scan as is with the ScanSnap.
Note: The Carrier Sheet should be replaced approximately after every 500 scans. However, this will vary depending on the conditions of use, so replace (purchase) them if there is any visible damage or dirt.
