Due to security enhancements on Google, ScanSnap Manager is no longer compatible with Google API in and after July, 2024. Therefore the ScanSnap Manager [Scan to Google Drive] feature will be no longer supported. Please use the alternative methods if you would like to keep using this feature.

- Symptoms: The following message appears after scanning using [Scan to Google Drive].
If the symptom happened, close the browser and cancel the authentication.

1. To whom migrate to ScanSnap Home

[Scan to Google Drive] profile settings on ScanSnap Manager does not migrate to ScanSnap Home.
Please create a [Scan to Google Drive] profile (scan settings), referring to the following procedure.
<Preparation>
Install [Google Drive for Desktop] in your PC, then set up your Google Drive setting after log on by your Google account.
<Procedure>
- Create a new profile on the [Add new profile] window. For detail, please refer to following.
- Select [Google Drive] from the left templates list of the [Add new profile] window. Google Drive synchronization folder is set on [Save to] automatically.
- If you used a default Google Drive folder (*) on ScanSnap Manager, press the [Browse] button and choose a folder under "G:\My Drive".

If you would like to create a searchable PDF, click the [Detailed settings] button in [Scan Settings] area and check "Convert to Searchable PDF" in the [File format] tab. - Press the [Add] button after finish settings.
2. To whom keep using ScanSnap Manager
Please change [Scan to Google Drive] profile settings to save to Google Drive synchronization folder directly.

Install [Google Drive for Desktop] in your PC, then set up your Google Drive setting after log on by your Google account.
<Procedure>
- Change from [Scan to Google Drive] to [None (Scan to File)] on [Application] selector of [Application] tab on ScanSnap Manager.
- Set Google Drive synchronization folder (*) as [Image saving folder] of [Save] tab.

- Press the [Apply] button after finish settings.
3. How to check Google Drive synchronization folder path
- Click Google Drive menu icon in the taskbar notification area.
- Click "Property" icon and click "Preferences" menu.
- Select [Google Drive] on the left menu, click [Open in File Explorer].
- Google Drive synchronization folder is opened by file explorer, and you can find the path on the address bar.
