How can I smoothly scan double-sided documents or multiple documents with iX100/S1100i?

Scanning double-sided documents

You can smoothly scan double-sided documents using ScanSnap's Continuous Document Feeding (CDF) function and the U-turn path mechanism.

1. Insert the document face up and press the Scan button.
   
2. The front side is scanned.
   
3. The document exists facing front side down.
   
4. Re-insert the document in the same orientation as it was ejected without
   pressing the Scan button.
   
5. The document is scanned. Press the Scan button on the ScanSnap to end scanning process and create the PDF image file.
   

Scanning multiple documents

When the scanned document is ejected, insert the next document in the ScanSnap. When all documents have been scanned, press the Scan button on the ScanSnap to end scanning process and create the PDF image file.
