This may be because the necessary settings are disabled. Please check the following settings.
Ⅰ. Please check the OS settings.
iOS
iOS 14/iPadOS 14 or later
- Go to [Settings] > [ScanSnap] or [ScanSnap Cloud] and enable [Local Network].
- Go to [Settings] > [Privacy] > [Location Services] and enable [Location Services].
- Go to [Settings] > [ScanSnap] or [ScanSnap Cloud] > [Location] and select [Allow While Using the App].
- Go to [Settings] > [ScanSnap] or [ScanSnap Cloud] > [Location] and enable [Precise Location]
- Note:
- [Precise Location] is used for connecting ScanSnap to a Wi-Fi network.
iOS 13/iPadOS 13
- Go to [Settings] > [Privacy] > [Location Services] and enable [Location Services].
- Go to [Settings] > [ScanSnap] or [ScanSnap Cloud] > [Location] and select [Allow While Using the App].
Android
Setting menus may differ depending on OS or your model.
Android 12
- Go to [Settings] > [Location] and enable [Use Location]
- Go to [Settings] > [Apps] > [ScanSnap] or [ScanSnap Cloud] > [Permissions] > [Location] and select [Allow only while using the app]
- Go to [Settings] > [Apps] > [ScanSnap] or [ScanSnap Cloud] > [Permissions] > [Location] and enable [Use precise location]
- Go to [Settings] > [Location] > [Google Location Accuracy] and enable [Improve Location Accuracy]
Android 11 to 9
- Go to [Settings] > [Location] and enable [Use Location]
- Go to [Settings] > [Apps] > [ScanSnap] or [ScanSnap Cloud] > [Permissions] > [Location] and select [Allow only while using the app]
- Go to [Settings] > [Location] > [Google Location Accuracy] and enable [Improve Location Accuracy]
Android 8 or earlier
- Go to [Settings] > [Location] and enable [Use Location]
- Go to [Settings] > [Apps] > [ScanSnap] or [ScanSnap Cloud] > [Permissions] > [Location] and select [Allow only while using the app]
- Go to [Settings] > [Location] > [Location Mode] and select an option other than [Battery saving]
Chrome OS

Open Chromebook Settings.

Go to [Apps] > [Google Play Store] > [Manage Android preferences] > [Location]

Enable [Use Location]
If the issue is not solved, please also configure the settings as follows:
- Go to Chromebook Settings >[Apps] > [Google Play Store] > [Manage Android preferences] > [Apps & notifications] > [ScanSnap] or [ScanSnap Cloud] > [Permissions] > [Location] and select [Allow only while using the app]
- Go to Chromebook Settings >[Apps] > [Google Play Store] > [Manage Android preferences] > [Location] > [Google Location Accuracy] and enable [Improve Location Accuracy]
Ⅱ. If the ScanSnap is still disconnected, please try the following trials.

Power off your ScanSnap iX1300, and then start Setup Wizard of ScanSnap Connect Application again.
- Note:
- Do not quit ScanSnap Connect Application or move the application to background during iX1300 setup.

When the following message appears during Easy Setup, confirm your mobile device is connected to the access point that you intend to connect the scanner, power off your ScanSnap iX1300, and then start Setup Wizard of ScanSnap Connect Application again.

Disable mobile data (cellular data network) on your mobile device, and then start Setup Wizard of ScanSnap Connect Application again.

- Setup Wizard may not be completed when the access point is not connected to the internet.
