To change the image quality for scanning documents, you will need to change the specific profile settings in ScanSnap Home.
To change the profile settings:
- Open the [Edit profiles] window.
- Select the profile you want to change.
- Change the setting of [Image quality] in [Scan settings].
The resolution for each option is as follows:
The resolution varies depending on the setting of [Color mode].
・Automatic
Scans documents at an optimal resolution according to document paper size.
The image quality is determined based on the length of the shorter side of the document.
When the shorter side is longer than 115 mm: Better
When the shorter side is 115 mm or shorter: Best
・Normal
Color/Gray: 150 dpi, Black & White: 300 dpi
・Better
Color/Gray: 200 dpi, Black & White: 400 dpi
・Best
Color/Gray: 300 dpi, Black & White: 600 dpi
・Excellent
Color/Gray: 600 dpi, Black & White: 1200 dpi
