Yes, you can output images to an external storage device such as a flash drive or an external hard drive.
Procedures vary depending on the operating system of the computer connected to ScanSnap.
■ Windows
- Click Windows [Start] menu --> [ScanSnap] --> [ScanSnap Home].
The main window of ScanSnap Home appears.
- Right-click the images that you want to save. Select [Save the image] in the menu that appears.
*If you save multiple images in content data records, select the content data records while holding down the [Ctrl] key or [Shift] key.
The information window for [Select Folder] is displayed.
- Select the flash drive or external hard drive displayed in the left side of the window.
- Select the pre-created folder (for example: ScanSnapData) and click the [Select Folder] button in the lower-right.
- Make sure that the images are saved in the specified folder.
■ macOS
- Click Finder in the Dock.
- Click the [ScanSnap Home] icon in the list of applications to start up ScanSnap Home.
