If multiple documents are scanned with a profile (scan settings) in which [Automatically detects the document type as "Documents", "Business Cards", "Receipts", or "Photos" and scans the document with the appropriate scan settings]*1 is specified for [Document type detection], some documents may be detected as a document type other than "Documents" (such as "Photos").
In this case, even if [Create a single PDF file from all sheets] is set with "Documents" selected for the document type, images created from incorrectly detected documents will be each saved as separate files rather than part of the single file created from correctly detected documents.
To avoid the above issue, change the setting for [Document type detection] to [All sheets will be scanned as documents] and set [PDF page split] to [Create a single PDF file from all sheets] by the following procedure.
*1 When [Automatically detects the document type as "Documents", "Business Cards", "Receipts", or "Photos" and scans the document with the appropriate scan settings] is specified, the document type is automatically detected based on the properties of the scanned document, such as paper size or character information.
