If multiple content data records of business cards are incorrectly identified as a document type other than [Business Cards], the [Output the file] menu cannot be selected.
When this issue occurs, changing the setting for [Document type] to [Business Cards] will enable the [Output the file] menu.
You can output files in a file format such as CSV or vCard using the [Output the file] menu. The following procedure uses CSV format as an example.

Windows & macOS
The window images used in the procedure below are based on the Windows, but similar windows appear in macOS.
- Start ScanSnap Home.
Note: For details about how to start ScanSnap Home, refer to the information given here.
- In the [ScanSnap Home] main window, click the [Summary list] button () on the toolbar in the upper right corner to switch the view mode for the content data record list.
- Select the content data record that is incorrectly identified as a document type other than [Business Cards].
Note: In this example, a content data record incorrectly identified as [Documents] is used.
- Right-click the content data record.
For macOS: Press and hold the [Control] key and click the content data record.
The context menu is displayed.
- From the context menu, select [Change document type] - [Business Cards].
- When the confirmation message appears, click the [Yes] button.
The document type icon changes to the icon for [Business Cards].
- To output the business card information as a CSV file, select a content data record.
- Windows: Press the [A] key while holding down the [Control] key.
macOS: Press the [A] key while holding down the [Command] key.
All business card content data records are selected.
Note: To select multiple content data records in a range, click the first and last records while holding down the [Shift] key.
To select multiple content data records individually, click each record while holding down the [Ctrl] key (Windows) or [Command] key (macOS). - Right-click the selected content data records.
The context menu is displayed.
- From the context menu, select [Output the file] - [Output business card information] - [CSV (Comma delimited format) (*.csv)].
Note: Alternatively, from the [File] menu on the menu bar, select [Output the file] - [Output business card information] - [CSV (Comma delimited format) (*.csv)].
The [Save business card information] window is displayed.
- Select the destination folder, enter the file name, and then click the [Save] button.
Note: In this example, the file is named "Card.csv" and saved in the [TEST] folder within [Downloads].
The "Card.csv" file is saved to the destination folder.
