If you are using iX1600, you can save images created from documents scanned to a pre-specified network folder such as NAS directly from the ScanSnap.

If you are using a model other than iX1600, you cannot save images created from documents scanned using the ScanSnap to NAS directly. You need to scan documents using the ScanSnap Home installed on your computer.
To save images to a network folder such as NAS, modify a profile using the following procedure.
- Display the [Edit profiles] window.
- Select a profile to modify the settings.
- Specify a network folder in [Save to] under [Managing options].
When you manage images in ScanSnap Home, they will not be displayed correctly if you change file names or delete files in a network folder. If you do not want images to be managed in ScanSnap Home, select [PC (Scan to file)] for [Type].
