The procedure for deleting information related to ScanSnap from a computer is as follows:
・Delete the registered ScanSnap
・Sign out of the ScanSnap account
・Sign out of the ScanSnap account
・Uninstall ScanSnap Home
Windows (Windows 11/Windows 10)

The following steps are based on Windows 10, but the steps are basically the same for Windows 11.
- Start ScanSnap Home.
Note: For details about how to start ScanSnap Home, click here. - Delete the registered ScanSnap
(1) Click the [Settings] menu on the main window of ScanSnap Home and select [Preferences] to display the preferences window.(2) Select the [Scanner] tab from the list on the left.(3) Select a model from the [Scanner information] list.
Turn the scanner on and check that [USB] or [Wi-Fi] is displayed for [Connection type].
(4) Click the [Remove] button.
(5) When the following message is displayed, click the [Yes] button.(6) Confirm that the selected model has been removed from the [Scanner information] list.(7) Turn off the scanner. - Sign of the ScanSnap account
(1) Select the [Account] tab, then click the [Sign out] button in [ScanSnap account] on the right.
Note: If you are not signed in with a ScanSnap account, go to step 4. Uninstall ScanSnap Home.(2) When the following message is displayed, click the [Yes] button.(3) Confirm that you have signed out of the ScanSnap account.
(4) Click the [OK] button on the [Preferences] window.
(5) Click [X] in the upper right to exit ScanSnap Home.
Note: Alternatively, select the [File] menu - [Exit] to exit ScanSnap Home.
- Uninstall ScanSnap Home
(1) Right-click the Windows [Start] button.Note: Alternatively, press the [X] key while holding down the [Windows] key on the keyboard.(2) Select [Apps and Features](3) Select ScanSnap Home from the [Apps & Features] list.(4) Click the [Uninstall] button.
(5) The "Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device?" message is displayed, and then click the [Yes] button.(6) When the following message is displayed, click the [Uninstall] button.
(7) After the uninstallation of ScanSnap Home is complete, a window asking you to restart your computer may be displayed.
Select [Yes, I want to restart my computer now.] and click the [Finish] button.
macOS

(1) On the right of the Apple menu, select [ScanSnap Home] - [Preferences] to display the preferences window.(2) Select the [Scanner] tab.
(3) Select a model from the [Scanner information] list.
Turn the scanner on and check that [USB] or [Wi-Fi] is displayed for [Connection type].
(4) Click the [Delete] button.
(5) When the following message appears, click the [Delete] button.
(6) Confirm that the selected model has been removed from the [Scanner information] list.
(7) Turn off the scanner.
- Sign out of the ScanSnap account
(1) Select the [Account] tab.
(2) Click the [Sign out] button in [ScanSnap account].Note: If you are not signed in with a ScanSnap account,go to step 4 Uninstall ScanSnap Home.
(3) When the following message appears, click the [Sign out] button.
(4) Confirm that you have signed out of the ScanSnap account.
(5) Click the [X] button to close the [Preferences] window.(6) Click [X] and exit ScanSnap Home.
Or select the [ScanSnap Home] menu - [Exit ScanSnap Home].

(1) Click any place where there are no icons on the desktop to start Finder.
Note: Alternatively click the Finder icon in the Dock to start Finder.(2) Select [Go] - [Applications] on the menu bar.
(3) Select [ScanSnap Home] from [Applications]
(4) Click the [ScanSnap Home] icon while holding down the [control] key on the keyboard to display the menu list.
(5) Select [Move to Trash] from the menu list to uninstall ScanSnap Home.
Note: Alternatively, drag and drop the ScanSnap Home icon into the Trash to uninstall ScanSnap Home.
(6) Click the [Trash] icon displayed in the Dock of macOS to open it.
(7) Click the [ScanSnap Home] icon while holding down the [control] key on the keyboard to display the menu list.
(8) Select [Delete immediately] from the menu list. (9) When the following message appears, click the [Delete] button.
(10) Confirm that ScanSnap Home has been deleted from the Trash.
(11) Open the [Applications] folder for macOS again. (12) Double-click the [ScanSnap Online Update] folder to open it.
(13) Double-click the [Sub] folder to open it.
(14) Double-click the [AOUUninstaller] icon.
(15) Click the [Continue] button.
(16) Click the [Uninstall] button.
(17) When the following dialogue is displayed, enter the password used when you log in to the computer and click the [OK] button.
(18) When the following message appears, click the [Close] button.
(19) Restart the computer.
