If communication between the ScanSnap, wireless router, and ScanSnap Cloud server is interrupted during data transfer, the scanned data may not be sent to the server and the scanner may remain in the [Scanning] status.
Follow the steps below, and then scan the documents again.
[Symptom]
The scanner is in the [Scanning] status when either of the following occurs:
-
Models with a touch panel:
The [Scanning] message remains displayed and does not progress. -
Models without a touch panel:
The [Scan] button continues to blink, and nothing happens when you press it.
For the ScanSnap iX100, this refer to the [Scan/Stop] button.
[Solution]
-
Restart the wireless router.
If you use a primary router and a secondary router, restart both routers.
For instructions on how to restart the wireless router, see the documentation for your router or contact the router manufacturer. -
Restart the ScanSnap.
If you are using an ScanSnap iX100, see Is there a way to force a reset when the ScanSnap iX100 won't turn off or on?.
- Close the ScanSnap cover to turn off the scanner.
- Unplug the power cable from the AC outlet and wait about 30 seconds.
- Reconnect the power cable and turn on the scanner.

Attention: Scanned images may not be saved if the scanner remains in the [Scanning] status. Since the images may not have been successfully transferred to the ScanSnap Cloud server, scan the documents again. |
