Check the MAC address in the following procedure:
Preparation
<ScanSnap iX1600 / iX1500>
- These models can be confirmed without connecting to the computer.

(Select the model name of the ScanSnap at the top of the page)
<ScanSnap iX1300 / iX500>
- Turn on the Wi-Fi switch that is at the back of the scanner.
- Connect the computer that has ScanSnap Home installed and the ScanSnap iX1300 / iX500 with the attached USB cable. Then, open the ADF paper chute (cover) to turn the ScanSnap on.
<ScanSnap iX100>
- Turn on the Wi-Fi switch that is at the back of the scanner.
- Connect the computer that has ScanSnap Home installed and the ScanSnap iX100 with the attached Micro-USB cable. Then, bring the feed guide down toward you to turn the ScanSnap on.
Select your operating system from the options below.
[Windows]
- Click Windows [Start] menu > [ScanSnap] > [ScanSnap Home].
The main window of ScanSnap Home appears.
- Click the [Settings] menu and select [Preferences].
The [Preferences] window appears.
- Click the [Scanner] tab and select a model from the [Scanner information] list.
- Make sure that the connection type is set to [USB] and click the [Wireless setup] button.
ScanSnap Wireless Setup Tool starts.
- Click the [ScanSnap Information] button in the [Basic] tab.
The [ScanSnap Information] window appears.
- [Network information] can be used to check the MAC address.
- After checking the MAC address, click [OK] to exit ScanSnap Wireless Setup Tool.
[macOS]
- Click Finder in the Dock.
The Finder window appears.
- Click the [ScanSnap Home] icon in the list of applications to start ScanSnap Home.
The main window of ScanSnap Home appears.
- On the right of the Apple mark, select [ScanSnap Home] - [Preferences].
The [Preferences] window appears.
- Click the [Scanner] tab and select a model from the [Scanner information] list.
- Make sure that the connection type is set to [USB] and click the [Wireless setup] button.
The [ScanSnap Wireless Setup Tool] window appears.
- Click the [ScanSnap Information] button in the [Basic] tab.
The [ScanSnap Information] window appears.
- [Network information] can be used to check the MAC address.
- After checking the MAC address, click [OK] to exit ScanSnap Wireless Setup Tool.
