When [Auto color detection] or [Auto] is selected for [Color mode], images may be created in an unintended color mode. Follow the procedure below to select [Color], [B&W] or [Gray] for [Color mode].
Windows / macOS
An operation using the ScanSnap iX1300 on Windows is used as an example.
- Start ScanSnap Home and click the [Scan] button in the upper left of the window.
- Click the [Edit profile] button in the upper right.
- In the [Edit profiles] window, select the profile (scan settings) you are using.
- Select a setting other than [Auto] ([Color]/[B&W]/[Gray]) for [Scan settings] - [Color mode].
Note: When "Automatically detects the document type as "Documents", "Business Cards", "Receipts", or "Photos" and scans the document with the appropriate scan settings" is selected for [Document type detection], set the color mode for all document types. - Click the [Save] button in the lower-right of the [Edit profile] window.
