How do I use a newer ScanSnap model with a computer that already has ScanSnap Home installed?

Please update ScanSnap Home using ScanSnap Online Update.
You do not need to uninstall ScanSnap Home from the computer.

[Procedure]

1. Display the main window for ScanSnap Home.
2. Select [Help] in the menu > [Online Update] > [Check for updates] to check whether a newer version of the program is available.
3. If a newer version of the program is available, update the software by following the instructions.
