This problem has been fixed since ScanSnap Home 2.22.0. Please update ScanSnap Home to the latest version to fix the issue.
Note: This issue occurs only on macOS 14.4. Even if you already installed ScanSnap Home, the issue occurs when you try to add a new scanner.
Problem Description
- After you installed ScanSnap Home for mac, it does not automatically display the window to select a scanner to connect. Thus, setup cannot start.
- When you click the ScanSnap Home icon to start ScanSnap Home, ScanSnap Home Main window will appear, but you cannot operate ScanSnap Home (Fig.1).

Solution
Please update ScanSnap Home to 2.22.0 or later.
