No cloud profiles may be displayed on the touch panel when a connection to the ScanSanp Cloud server is not available.
Check whether the iX1600/iX1500 is in the following conditions:
- Not connected to a wireless access point via Wi-Fi
- IP address cannot be obtained properly, displaying "0.0.0.0"
- DNS server is not configured (IP address is manually set)
- [Connected user] is set for [Display of profiles]
Try [Procedures] below one by one to check whether the problem is solved.
[Procedures]
■ Checking the Wi-Fi connection status of the iX1600/iX1500
<Not connected to a wireless access point via Wi-Fi>
- Open the ADF paper chute (cover) of the iX1600/iX1500 to turn the power on.
- Check the Wi-Fi icon in the upper right corner of the touch panel. If the Wi-Fi icon indicates a wireless access point connection , go to 3.
If the Wi-Fi icon is not displayed, follow the procedure given here to connect to the wireless access point via Wi-Fi.
When the Wi-Fi icon indicates a wireless access point connection , go to 3.
If the Wi-Fi icon indicates a direct connection , change it to a wireless access point connection by following the procedure given here.
When the Wi-Fi icon indicates a wireless access point connection , go to 3.

Tap the icon on the touch panel.
- Tap [Wi-Fi settings].
- Tap [Wi-Fi information].
- Tap [Network].
- Check [Configuration method].

When "Obtain automatically (DHCP)" is displayed
<IP address cannot be obtained properly, displaying "0.0.0.0">
Check whether the IP address has been successfully obtained from the router.
If "0.0.0.0" is displayed for [IP address], the IP address has not been successfully obtained from the wireless access point.
Contact your network administrator or the router manufacturer of the wireless access point to which you are connected for information on how to successfully obtain an IP address.
After confirmation, tap the icon in the upper right corner to return to the top screen.

When "Configure IP address manually" is displayed, confirm that the IP address you have set is correct.
<DNS server is not configured (IP address is manually set)>
If no DNS server has been configured, follow the procedure given here to configure a DNS server.
After confirmation, tap the icon in the upper right corner to return to the top screen.
■ Checking the [Display of profiles] setting for iX1600/iX1500
<[Connected user] is set for [Display of profiles]>
- Tap the icon on the touch panel.
- Tap [Scanner settings].
- Check the option displayed in [Display of profiles].
If [Selected user] or [All users] is specified, tap the icon in the upper right corner to return to the top screen.
If [Connected user] is specified, cloud profiles are not displayed.
Change it to [Selected user] or [All users].
After changing, tap the icon in the upper right corner to return to the top screen.

- Start ScanSnap Home .

- Click the [Settings] menu in ScanSnap Home - [Preferences] to display the window.
- Select the [Scanner] tab from the list on the left of the [Preferences] window.
- Select iX1600/iX1500 that you are using and check that [USB3.0/USB2.0] or [Wi-Fi] is displayed for [Connection type].
- Select the [Account] tab from the list on the left.
- If the [Use ScanSnap Cloud] checkbox is not selected, select the checkbox.
- Click the [Sign out] button under [ScanSnap account].
- Click the [Yes] button in the displayed message.
- Enter the e-mail address and the password registered for your ScanSnap account and click the [Sign in] button.
- Click the [OK] button in the displayed message.
- Click the [OK] button to close the preferences window.
- Check whether the cloud profiles appears on the iX1600/iX1500 touch panel.

- Start ScanSnap Home .

- On the right of the Apple menu, select [ScanSnap Home] - [Preferences] to display the preferences window.
- Select the [Scanner] tab of the preferences window.
- Select iX1600/iX1500 that you are using and check that [USB3.0/USB2.0] or [Wi-Fi] is displayed for [Connection type].
- Select the [Account] tab from the list.
- If the [Use ScanSnap Cloud] checkbox is not selected, select the checkbox.
