Conditions for automatic merging
There are multiple conditions that must be met for a document folded in half to be automatically merged after scanning with ScanSnap Home.

How to manually merge pages
If the pages are not automatically merged, they can be manually merged into a double-page spread image.
Refer to the [Procedure] below.
Note: Refer to the video titled "How do I create double page spread image by merging two pages?" for how to perform the operations in the [Procedure].
[Procedure]
- Start ScanSnap Home

Note: For details about how to start ScanSnap Home, refer to “How can I start ScanSnap Home?”.
- Right-click the content data record with the pages you wish to merge and select [Open with ScanSnap Home Viewer].
- Click the [Edit] tab.
Note: If the Pages Panel on the left does not appear, refer to "How to display the Page Panel" below.
[How to display the Page Panel]
Click [Switch View] and select [Show all].
- While holding down the [Ctrl] key, select the two pages you wish to merge on the Page Panel on the left, then click [Merge Pages].
For example, [Horizontally] is selected.
- When the following window appears, select the merging layout and click the [OK] button.
- After merging the pages, open the [File] tab and select [Save] or [Save as]. A content data record is created with the pages merged.
About the Carrier Sheets
The Carrier Sheets allow you to automatically merge the pages of a document that is folded in half.
