This error occurs if you have performed the following operations in "Explorer" (Windows) or "Finder" (macOS) on data displayed in ScanSnap Home.
- Move to another folder
- Delete from destination
- Change file name
ScanSnap Home is linked to Explorer or Finder. Moving/deleting/renaming files is recommended to perform in ScanSnap Home.
When the error occurs, follow the recovery procedures below to move or copy files with the same name back to the location shown in the error message.
(Note: The instructions are for Windows, but the procedures are the same for macOS.)

- For the data that you cannot open due to the error (the "View" icon is "
"), place the mouse cursor over the address in "Basic information" - "Save destination" and right-click, then click [Copy].
- Open File Explorer and delete the text currently typed in the address bar.
- Right-click in the address bar and select Paste to paste the address you copied earlier.
- Pressing [Enter] on your keyboard will open the folder where the scan data will be saved.
- Move the moved data (the example below is data moved to the desktop) to the destination folder.
Move it by drag and drop, or copy the data and return it to the folder. - In ScanSnap Home, click "View" - "Update the selected folder".
- After updating, if the "View" image changes from "
" to the Image image, check that the content is displayed correctly.
<Note> If the following message appears, it means that the files you moved from the ScanSnap Home folder still remain. Select "No" to recover the data marked as " If you cannot restore the files to their original state (you don't know where you moved them), you can click the "Yes" button to delete the target content data records all at once. |
