Yes, you can scan using the tethering feature of a mobile device.
Note: When using the tethering feature of a mobile device, you need a separated mobile device dedicated to tethering, different from the device you installed ScanSnap Home.
Connect both ScanSnap and the device you intend to use for scanning to the device dedicated to tethering.
If you still cannot connect when using a mobile device for tethering, connect ScanSnap and the mobile device to a different network (SSID) and try again.
