The following explains the functional differences when saving scan data using the iX2500* / iX1600, comparing saving via a computer versus saving directly to a network folder, not only Windows file sharing but also NAS file sharing system.

- When "Auto" is selected for Color mode, scanning will be in color or grayscale.
It will not scan in black and white. - No application can be configured for the [Send to] option.
