ScanSnap Home displays "Unable to connect with ScanSnap due to an error in the program's operating environment. (0x8007045A)”

A component of the ScanSnap Home program may be functioning incorrectly.
Please uninstall and reinstall ScanSnap Home using the following [Procedure].

[Procedure]

1. Uninstall ScanSnap Home.
   [HELP]
   If uninstallation fails, follow the steps below.
   1) Click here to download and run “SSHomeClean.exe.”
   2) Delete all installation entries starting with “ScanSnap.”
      Since they cannot be deleted in bulk, delete them one by one.
   
   3) Every time an installation entry is deleted, a message appears stating "Successfully removed." Click the [OK] button.
   4) After deleting all entries, click the [Close] button.
    
2. Restart your computer.
   Note: Please [Restart] the computer rather than [Shut down].
    
3. Download and install ScanSnap Home again.
   You can download it from here.
    
4. After installation completes, start ScanSnap Home again and verify that scanning works without issues.
