[Preparation]
With the following procedure, the Wi-Fi information of the network your mobile device is connected is registered to the iX100.
Before following the procedure, ensure your mobile device is connected to the Wi-Fi network via 2.4 GHz.
Note: The iX100 supports only 2.4 GHz and cannot connect via 5 GHz.
[Procedure]
- Start ScanSnap Home for Mobile

- Tap
on the upper left corner.
- Tap [Scanner].
- Tap [Scanner setup].
- Tap [Configure the Wi-Fi settings for the ScanSnap].
- Tap [iX100].
- Enter the "SSID" listed on the bottom of the iX100 device and tap the [Next] button.
- Turn on the Wi-Fi switch on the back of the iX100 and tap the [Next] button.
- Turn on the iX100. After the Wi-Fi indicator lights up in orange, tap the [Next] button.
Note: If the Wi-Fi indicator does not light up in orange, turn the power on while pressing and holding the [Scan/Stop] button on the iX100. Release the [Scan/Stop] button after the Wi-Fi indicator lights up in orange.
- Tap the [Next] button.
- Tap [Join].
- Enter the Wi-Fi password and tap [Next].
Note: The password may be described as a "security key" or an "encryption key" depending on the wireless router used.
- Tap [Join].
- Tap [Get started on ScanSnap].
- Ensure the iX100 and your mobile device are connected via Wi-Fi.
