To import email attachments into ScanSnap Home on your Windows/Mac, follow these steps:

- Open the email and, for the PDF attachment, select Save As to save it locally.
- Open ScanSnap Home, then drag the saved PDF file from your local storage and drop it into the ScanSnap Home folder or a managed folder you've previously assigned.
Note:
In cases where ScanSnap Home is unable to open the imported file, you may receive an error message such as:
• | "With ScanSnap Home, this file cannot be opened." |
• | "This PDF file will be opened in viewing mode because it contains a digital signature or was not generated by ScanSnap." |
In that case, go to Settings > Preferences > General. Under Display images in local folders, select Associated application. After that, try opening the file again in ScanSnap Home.
