If this issue occurs on the iX100, try performing a forced reset using the following [Procedure].
[Symptoms]
- The power does not turn off when the ADF paper chute (cover) is closed (the [Scan/Stop] button remains lit). The device may be sending data to ScanSnap Cloud or has stopped due to a certain issue.
- The battery level is sufficient (the charging light is orange or blue when connected via USB), but the device does not turn on.
[Procedure]
- Close the iX100's ADF paper chute (cover) to turn off the power.
- Press and hold both the [Scan/Stop] button and the WPS button on the scanner at the same time for at least 5 seconds.
No visible changes will appear during this operation, but a reset process is performed internally. - After performing a forced reset, charge the iX100's internal battery for approximately 3 hours with the ADF paper chute (cover) closed, and then check if the issue improves.
Note:
- The configurations of your iX100 will not be deleted by this forced reset.
- If data is currently being sent to ScanSnap Cloud, the transmission will be canceled.
