Check that the ScanSnap firmware is up to date.

ScanSnap Home (Windows/Mac)
- Start ScanSnap Home
on the computer, then click the [Scan] button.
Note: For details, see How can I start ScanSnap Home?.
- Click on a profile icon for cloud service integration, then click the "!" mark at the top right of the [Scan] button.
In this example, the "Scan to Cloud" profile is selected.
- On the following instruction window, click the [Yes] button.
- In the Preferences window, enter the email address of your ScanSnap account and password, then click the [Sign in] button.
If you have forgotten your password, you can reset it here.
- Check that the "!" mark is not displayed on the computer window.
Tap the [Scan] button on the touch panel and check that scanning is possible.
ScanSnap Home (Android/iOS)
Note: In addition to the following operations, the error may occur due to unstable network status.
- Start ScanSnap Home on your mobile device.
- Tap “≡” in the upper left corner.
- Tap "Scanner".
- Tap the target model.
- Tap "Add to the ScanSnap Cloud Service".
- Enter your ScanSnap account password.
- When “All settings are complete” is displayed, return to the “Cloud Settings” screen on the TOP screen and confirm that scanning is possible.
