When ScanSnap SV600 recognizes the paper size of a document, it may incorrectly recognize a square frame or photo area within the document as an individual document or as the edge of the document.
Modify the cropping area as follows:
When a flat document is scanned
- On the window that appears after scanning, select [Crop and save flat document images as-is] and click the [Check/Correct] button.
- The [View cropped images] window appears.
- The area enclosed by a red or blue frame is the cropped area. Adjust a frame to the paper size. Select and delete unnecessary frames.
- Click the [Save and Exit] button.
When a double-page spread document (book/magazine) is scanned
- On the window that appears after scanning, select [Correct and save double-page spread document images (Book/Magazine)] and click the [Check/Correct] button.
- The [Book Image Viewer] window appears.
- As shown in the window below, align the six points (the four corner points of the red frame and the two center folding points) with the actual positions on the document.
- Click the [Save and Exit] button.
