The scanner may halt temporarily when used under operating environments which do not fulfill system requirements. Please check to see if your PC environment meets these system requirements. For details of the system requirements, refer to the Operator's Guide or Getting Started.
Please note that ScanSnap may stop scanning for a short period, even when using the ScanSnap in environments that meet ScanSnap system requirements, because starting up ScanSnap linked software may require a little time.
- When starting up the operating system
- Immediately after turning on the power
- When CPU load is high, e.g. simultaneously running many types of software

The scanner should scan normally once the linked applications are running.
