If the wireless access point cannot be found for some reasons when the scanner is powered on, the ScanSnap iX100 switches to Direct Connect mode. Once the connection mode is switched, the iX100 will not connect to the wireless access point even if it is available afterwards.
To switch to Access Point mode, restart the scanner in the environment where the wireless network (SSID) can be found.
Note:
When [Auto mode] (for selecting the wireless mode automatically) is set for the ScanSnap iX100, the scanner starts with Access Point mode when powered on, and then switches to Direct Connect mode if no registered wireless access points can be found. Once connected in Direct Connect mode, the iX100 will not switch to Access Point mode until restarted.
