This may be due to duplicate IP address conflicts between the ScanSnap and the other device. Please follow the steps below to check IP address assigned to the ScanSnap.
Check the IP address of the ScanSnap.
- Connect the computer and the ScanSnap with a USB cable and turn the ScanSnap power on.
- ScanSnap Wireless Setup Tool starts up.
- Select [ScanSnap Information] in the Basic Menu.
- Check the IP address configuration method.
- When [Automatic (DHCP)] is selected,
restart the wireless router and check whether the Wi-Fi indicator turns blue.
For details about restarting the wireless router, contact the manufacturer of the device.
- When [Configure manually] is selected,
check the following and whether the Wi-Fi indicator turns blue.

- Check whether there is another device in the same network that is using the same IP address as the ScanSnap, and if yes, turn off the device.
- Turn the ScanSnap on and check that the Wi-Fi indicator has turned blue.
- After checking, change the IP address of the ScanSnap.
