You can delete a user name by performing [Initialize profiles].
- Tap the [Settings]
icon in the upper-right of the touch screen (LCD) of the ScanSnap.
- Tap [Scanner settings] in the [Settings] screen.
- In the [Scanner settings] screen, scroll down to [Initialize profiles] and tap it.
- Tap the [Initialize] button.
- Tap the [Yes] button.
- Tap the [OK] button.
- Tap the
button in the [Scanner settings] screen.
- "Launch the software on the device and connect it to the ScanSnap." message is displayed.
- Start ScanSnap Home and connect it to the ScanSnap.

- Check that the user name has been deleted in the upper-left of the touch screen (LCD) of the ScanSnap.
