To stabilize the Wi-Fi (access point) connection for the iX100, set the [ScanSnap Wireless Setup Tool] to [Access Point Connect mode].
By default, the wireless mode is set to Auto mode. In this setting, when the power is turned on, the iX100 connects to the registered Wi-Fi (access point), and the Wi-Fi indicator lights up in blue.
If the iX100 cannot connect to the access point within a certain period, it switches to [Direct Connect mode], and the Wi-Fi indicator lights up in orange.
If the iX100 cannot connect to the access point within a certain period, it switches to [Direct Connect mode], and the Wi-Fi indicator lights up in orange.
After switching to [Direct Connect mode], you can re-establish a Wi-Fi (access point) connection by turning the iX100 off and then back on. However, if the iX100 still cannot connect to the access point within a certain period, it will switch back to [Direct Connect mode].
If the Wi-Fi connection remains unstable, fixing the [ScanSnap Wireless Setup Tool] setting to [Access Point Connect mode] will stabilize the connection, as the scanner will always attempt to connect to the Wi-Fi (access point).
