The battery level of your iX100 can be checked at [Preferences] in ScanSnap Home.
Select your operating system.
Windows / Mac OS
Windows
[Procedure]
- Connect the computer that has ScanSnap Home installed and the iX100 with the attached Micro-USB cable. Then, bring the feed guide of the iX100 down toward you to turn it on.
- Start ScanSnap Home.

- Select the [Settings] menu > [Preferences].
- Select the [Scanner] tab from the list on the left.
- Select iX100 in the [Scanner Information] and check that [Connection Type] shows USB2.0.
If it’s not connected, please refer to "My USB-connected scanner will not start a scan (ScanSnap Home)."
- Click the [Details] button.
- You can check the battery level by referring to [Current power].
Mac OS
[Procedure]
- Connect the computer that has ScanSnap Home installed and the iX100 with the attached Micro-USB cable. Then, bring the feed guide of the iX100 down toward you to turn it on.
- Start ScanSnap Home.
