This may be due to [Automatic selection], which is specified for [Paper size] by default in the [Carrier sheet settings] window.
When [Automatic selection] is selected, an optimal size will be selected automatically from the available standard sizes in [Paper size], and the size of the scanned image may become different from the original document.

If there is dirt on the black and white patterned area at the top of the Carrier Sheet, the pattern on the Carrier Sheets will appear in the scanned image.
In that case, please try using a different Carrier Sheet.

- Set the output size to an option other than [Automatic selection]
- Crop output images using the viewer in ScanSnap Home
- Crop output images using PDF editing software
- Place a blank A4-size sheet of paper behind the document and scan
Set the output size to an option other than [Automatic selection]
- Start ScanSnap Home.
For details about how to start ScanSnap Home, click here.
- Click the [Open scan window] button.
- Click the [Edit profiles] button.
- Select the profile whose settings you wish to change and click the [Option...] button.
For iX1300, the same procedure can be done by [Manual Feeder] > [Option].
Note: Select the [Scan to Folder] profile as an example.
- Click the [Carrier Sheet...] button.
For the iX1300, the [Carrier Sheet...] button is located on the “Manual Feeder” tab.
- Change [Paper size].
Crop output images using the viewer in ScanSnap Home
If the output image size is larger than the document size, crop the output image to the desired size using ScanSnap Home's viewer.
