This message appears when ScanSnap fails to acquire Wi-Fi information. Initialize ScanSnap and set it up again using the following procedure:

[Procedure]
- Tap the [Settings] (gear) icon in the upper right of the touch panel.
- Tap [Scanner settings] in the settings screen.
- Swipe down on the scanner settings screen and tap [Reset ScanSnap settings].
- Tap [Initialize].
- When "Are you sure you want to initialize?" is displayed, select [Yes] to proceed with the initialization.
- When "Initialization complete." is displayed, tap the [OK] button.
- When the [Display Language] screen appears, close the ADF paper chute (cover) of ScanSnap and unplug the power cable connected to the back of the scanner.
Wait for about 5 seconds and then plug the power cable back in.
Open the ADF paper chute (cover) and select a language in the [Display Language] screen.
- You can refer to the video "ScanSnap iX1600 Initial Settings and ScanSnap Home Installation" to configure the initial settings of ScanSnap.
- After completing the initial settings, make sure that you can connect ScanSnap and the software on your device via Wi-Fi and scan documents.
