Stripes (moiré) appear on scanned images after documents are scanned.

If stripes (moiré) are noticeable, try the following workarounds:

1. Increasing the image quality setting
   Changing the image quality setting to a higher resolution such as “Excellent”, may reduce the stripes.
   
   
2. Changing the way you scan a document

• • Changing the orientation of a document
    Try placing the document upside down, in landscape orientation if it is a portrait document, or in portrait orientation if it is a landscape; and scanning it.
  • Placing the document with the front and back sides reversed
    For some models, try scanning the document face down.
    Note: This suggestion applies to models other than iX100 and SV600.
