When ScanSnap is not connected to a computer via Wi-Fi, the screen displays as follows.
In that case, follow the procedure below.
[Preparation]
- Update the firmware of your ScanSnap to the latest version.

- Update ScanSnap Home to the latest version.
For details about the update procedure, refer to ScanSnap Help.
Try the following solution 1 to 4 to check whether your ScanSnap can connect to your computer via Wi-Fi.
1. Check the Wi-Fi information on the touch panel of ScanSnap.
2. Initialize the ScanSnap unit and reconfigure the Wi-Fi settings.
3. Reboot the wireless router.

1-1. If the following screen appears after setting, the security key you entered may be incorrect.[ScanSnap touch panel screen]
1-2. Check the security key to the wireless router you are connecting to.
Note: Depending on the wireless router you are using, the security key may be labeled as “encryption key” or “encryption key.”
If the scanner cannot connect to Wi-Fi after entering the security key, you can also connect using the WPS function.

2. Initialize the ScanSnap unit and reconfigure the Wi-Fi settings.
The ScanSnap unit may be malfunctioning temporarily.

3. Reboot the wireless router.
The wireless router may not be functioning properly. Please try rebooting the wireless router.

4. Check wireless router settings.

Is the number of devices connected to the wireless router exceeding the maximum number of devices that can be connected?
If exceeded, disconnect the other devices connected to the same network, and then re-configure the ScanSnap Wi-Fi settings.

Are you using stealth feature on your wireless router?
Please disable the stealth feature and try again.

Is MAC address filtering set in your wireless router?
If the MAC address filtering is enabled, please register the MAC address of your ScanSnap on the router.
