The scanner hardware may be causing this issue.
Please try the following [Troubleshooting Steps] and check whether the issue is resolved.
[Troubleshooting Steps]
• Check the AC adapter
If you are using a third-party AC adapter, use the genuine AC adapter supplied with your ScanSnap product.
(The genuine AC adapter is labeled "PFU LIMITED".)
To purchase an AC adapter for your current model, please contact the local subsidiary near you.
Note: If you are using an extension cord or power strip, try connecting directly to a wall outlet to see if this resolves the issue.
This item does not apply to iX100/S1100i, because no AC adapter is included.
• Restart the scanner
- Close the paper feed cover on the scanner unit to turn the power OFF.
For the SV600, press and hold the device's [Stop] button for at least 3 seconds to turn the power OFF. - Disconnect all cables from the scanner unit and wait about 10 minutes.
- Reconnect all cables, open the paper feed cover to turn the power ON.
For the SV600, press the device's [Scan] button to turn the power ON.
For the iX100, see Is there a way to force a reset when the ScanSnap iX100 won't turn off or on?
After the forced reset, charge the device for about 3 hours with the paper feed cover closed.
