Follow the steps below to check whether documents feed smoothly through the scanner.
Steps:
- Open the ADF top section and make sure the protective sheet and all protective tapes on the glass area have been removed.
- Remove them gently before first use.
- If any protective tape remains, it may cause paper jams.
- If the issue still occurs even after removing the protective tapes, gently press the guides in the document path shown in red in the image below.
- Make sure they do not lift or move when you touch them.
- The guides may have lifted when the protective tapes were removed.
- Close the ADF top section, and try scanning again.
