To connect the ScanSnap to Wi-Fi by using the WPS feature on your wireless router, follow the [Procedure] below or see the ScanSnap Wireless Setup Tool Help links at the end of this article.
Note: Use a wireless router that supports WPS. WPS is also available with ScanSnap models with a touch panel.

[Preparation]
For instructions on how to use WPS, see the user's manual for your wireless router or contact the manufacturer.
[Procedure]
- If the Wi-Fi switch on the back of the ScanSnap is set to "OFF", turn it to "ON" and check the location of the WPS button.
- Open the ADF paper chute (cover) of the ScanSnap to turn it on.
The Wi-Fi indicator changes from flashing blue to solid orange. - Press and hold the [WPS] button on your wireless router for the amount of time specified for the router to start the connection.
The wireless router waits for a connection from the ScanSnap.
For details such as the button name and location, see the user's manual for your wireless router or contact the manufacturer. - As soon as possible, press and hold the WPS button on the back of the ScanSnap for about 3 seconds. Release the button when the Wi-Fi indicator starts flashing blue.
- When the Wi-Fi indicator on the ScanSnap changes from flashing blue to solid blue, the Wi-Fi connection to the wireless router is complete.
